Gate scheduled Axis Robotics (AXIS) perpetual futures for Oct. 21, outlining leveraged trading for a token that Coinbase had already placed in limit-only trading.

Gate set the contract’s start for 9:10 a.m. ET (13:10 UTC), with long and short positions at leverage ranging from 1x to 20x. The announced schedule does not establish that the futures market opened at that time.

Gate could delay the start if AXIS prices fluctuated sharply before launch. It may also adjust the contract’s funding rate, leverage limits and maintenance margin.

Bitget had scheduled AXIS/USDT spot trading for 9 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC) on Oct. 21, 10 minutes before Gate’s planned futures start. Bitget’s plan concerned spot trading, while Gate’s announcement covered a perpetual futures contract.

Coinbase calls the token Axis Labs (AXIS). It opened AXIS-USD limit-only trading at 7:33 a.m. ET (11:33 UTC) on Oct. 21. Coinbase had made deposit address creation available on Oct. 20.

Gate planned to enable trading bots and copy trading within an hour after its futures market opened.
