Curve DAO Token Stays Near 40 Cents as Momentum Signals Split
An Oct. 21 24-hour reading showed a 5.25% gain. A later technical calculation used $0.3920 and placed the nearest resistance at $0.3979.

Curve DAO Token (CRV) stayed near 40 cents on Oct. 21 after an earlier 24-hour reading showed a 5.25% gain, but later momentum indicators pointed in different directions.
The earlier reading priced CRV at $0.39. A technical calculation updated at 4:01 p.m. ET (20:01 UTC) used $0.3920 as its analysis price. The two observations cover different times, and the calculation does not establish that a trade occurred at $0.3920 at that minute.
The later calculation placed CRV above its 20-day simple moving average of $0.3625 and below its upper Bollinger Band of $0.3968. Bollinger Bands mark a range around a moving average based on recent price variation.
The 14-period relative strength index was 59.8, below the commonly used overbought threshold of 70. Stochastic %K stood at 91.0, above its conventional threshold of 80. Those readings give different views of the token’s recent momentum.
The calculation placed the nearest resistance at $0.3979 and support at $0.3852. CRV was also above the $0.38 resistance identified in an earlier technical setup; that was an earlier level, not the latest resistance reading.
CRV is Curve’s native token and is used in governance and as an incentive for liquidity providers.
