Monero (XMR), Venice Token (VVV) and PHALA (PHA) gained over the seven days through Oct. 21, while Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) fell, showing a split in crypto markets.

On Oct. 21, XMR traded near $598 after earlier topping $620. VVV was around $25.70, up roughly 12% over seven days, while PHA was near $0.056, up about 5% after briefly moving above $0.06.

The three assets have different roles. Monero is designed to conceal transaction details, Venice Token supports access to private AI services, and PHALA is tied to confidential computing. VVV traded below the $34.51 high recorded Sept. 21.

Trader Doctor Profit warned that rising Monero futures open interest, the value of outstanding contracts, could expose XMR to a possible liquidation event.
