Chipotle Mexican Grill shares fell 5.3% Wednesday to close at $28.09, one week before the company is scheduled to release its third-quarter results on Oct. 28.

The results are scheduled for about 4:10 p.m. ET (20:10 UTC). Chipotle will host a conference call at 4:30 p.m. ET (20:30 UTC), with an update on fourth-quarter business to date.
