XRP Needs a 16.5% Gain to Revisit $1.55 After October Slide
XRP closed at $1.33 on Oct. 20. The $1.55 level is a scenario, with no established probability of being reached.

XRP closed at $1.33 on Oct. 20, leaving a 16.5% move to $1.55, while recent protocol and corporate developments have not coincided with a reversal of its October slide.
The Oct. 20 price reference was recorded at 8 p.m. ET (0000 UTC Oct. 21). At the same time on Oct. 6, XRP was $1.50, making the later close 11.3% lower. XRP also had a daily price of $1.5509 on Sept. 25, an earlier XRP price reading near $1.55.
BatchV1_1 activated on the XRP Ledger on Oct. 9. It lets an account group up to eight transactions into one batch and link operations, including all-or-nothing execution. The activation date alone does not establish how frequently accounts use the feature.
Evernorth Holdings Inc. completed its business combination on Oct. 9 and held about 473 million XRP that day. Its stated plan includes future at-market purchases to build its reserve, but the Oct. 9 balance does not establish whether it will buy additional XRP in November.
Evernorth’s Oct. 19 prospectus describes up to 11,499,992 shares issuable through public-warrant exercises at $11.50 each. If all the warrants were exercised for cash, the company could receive about $132.2 million. The prospectus lists general corporate purposes as the use of those potential proceeds; it does not designate them as an XRP-buying budget.
Ripple’s Swell conference is scheduled for Oct. 27-29 in New York. Disclosed new XRP purchases and evidence of actual Batch transaction use are observable developments tied to the $1.55 scenario, which has no established probability.
