Binance’s Equity Perpetuals Use Order-Book Pricing Off Hours
METAUSDT tracks Meta Platforms common stock and trades 24/7. Binance’s revised index calculation mode took effect May 15, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET (May 16 at 00:00 UTC).

Binance’s equity perpetuals use an order-book-based exponentially weighted moving average to set index prices during maintenance periods, weekends and holidays under a method that took effect May 15, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET (May 16 at 00:00 UTC).
The METAUSDT contract tracks Meta Platforms common stock, listed on Nasdaq under ticker META. It is a derivative, not a tokenized share, and traders do not need to own the stock. The contract settles in Tether (USDT), offers up to 10x leverage and trades around the clock.
Because the contract continues trading outside regular stock-market hours, its readings describe the derivative and may differ from Meta shares during their regular session. Binance launched the contract on March 26, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. ET (14:30 UTC).
