Bitcoin (BTC) held up better than semiconductor stocks during two major pullbacks since June, including a two-week decline in which chip stocks fell by double digits.

The repeated divergence may suggest markets are treating Bitcoin less as a leveraged stand-in for technology stocks. Its price action may be becoming less closely tied to the sector.
