DEX spot trading totaled $571 billion, up 13% from the second quarter, marking its first quarterly increase after the slide. Tokenized stocks made up about 9% of that volume, compared with roughly 1% in Q2.
Other onchain measures rose too. Stablecoin-adjusted transaction volume advanced 16% quarter over quarter to $781 billion, while monthly average active addresses grew 39% to about 73 million.
Real-world asset market capitalization reached about $39 billion, up 19%. Lending protocol deposits climbed 51% to $81 billion, and active loans rose 41% to $29 billion.
In derivatives, perpetual futures DEX open interest increased 76% to about $24 billion, while trading volume fell 16% to about $1.4 trillion. That divergence shows gains were not uniform across DeFi markets.
