YieldMax set a $0.0698-per-share weekly distribution for its META Option Income Strategy ETF (FBY), a 27% decrease from the previous week’s payout. Payment is scheduled for Oct. 23, with Oct. 22 set as the ex-dividend and record date.

The latest distribution is $0.0258 per share below the prior $0.0956 payment. YieldMax’s previous FBY distribution was scheduled for payment on Oct. 16.

The fund listed a 40.46% distribution rate calculated as of the Oct. 20 close. That rate annualizes the latest payment against the fund’s net asset value, so it is not a measure of total return or a promise of future payments. FBY’s 30-day SEC yield was 2.43% for the period ended Sept. 30; the measure excludes option income.

FBY’s strategy uses options tied to Meta Platforms and short-term U.S. Treasury securities. The fund writes calls to generate premiums, a strategy that can limit its participation in gains when META rises.

Distributions can vary and may include a return of investor capital. They may also reduce the fund’s net asset value and trading price. The next payment is scheduled for Oct. 23.
