NVIDIA (NVDA) shares rose 2.3% to close at $221.46 Wednesday, Oct. 21, during GTC Berlin, where the company announced a live-network AI-RAN call with T-Mobile and Nokia. The close compared with $216.47 on Tuesday, and shares traded between $217.66 and $222.16.

T-Mobile completed the call on a live network. NVIDIA also described AI-RAN trials involving BT, Deutsche Telekom and Elisa. GTC Berlin continues through Thursday, Oct. 22.

NVIDIA's latest reported quarter ended July 26. Revenue reached $96.221 billion, up 106% year over year, including $89.023 billion from its Data Center business, a 117% increase.

The company forecast fiscal third-quarter revenue of $108 billion, plus or minus 2%, with no Data Center compute revenue from China assumed. NVIDIA announced the results on Aug. 26, almost eight weeks before the stock's Oct. 21 close.

In August, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang framed the shift in AI demand this way: “Now, compute is revenue.”
