Bitfinex transferred $113 million in Tether (USDT) to Tether Treasury on Oct. 21, a sizable stablecoin flow from a major crypto exchange to the token’s issuer.

The transaction was dated Oct. 21, 2026. Bitfinex is a cryptocurrency exchange that frequently handles significant USDT transactions. Tether issues USDT, a stablecoin widely used in crypto markets and designed to serve as a stable store of value. Tether Treasury is the named destination for the transfer.

The transaction identifies the sender, destination, asset and amount, but does not establish why the tokens moved or how Tether Treasury will handle them. A transfer to a treasury alone does not show whether tokens were newly issued, redeemed or returned to circulation.

USDT’s broad use makes large movements a point of interest in crypto markets. The $113 million transfer, by itself, does not establish that available trading liquidity increased or decreased, or that market sentiment changed.
