First Trust UCON ETF Sets October Distribution at $0.0950 Per Share

First Trust Smith Unconstrained Bond ETF (UCON) set its October distribution at $0.0950 per share, the same amount as in September, with payment scheduled for Oct. 30.

Oct. 21 was both the ex-dividend date and the record date for the distribution. UCON is listed on NYSE Arca and targets long-term total return. In normal market conditions, fixed-income securities make up at least 80% of its net assets.

Before May 9, 2025, the fund was named First Trust TCW Unconstrained Plus Bond ETF. It adopted its current name when Smith Capital Investors replaced TCW as sub-adviser.
