Crypto traders had $35.24 million in positions liquidated across Binance, Bybit and OKX in the hour ending 9:45 p.m. ET Wednesday, Oct. 21 (01:45 UTC Oct. 22), with long positions accounting for nearly all of the total.

The three exchanges recorded 3,868 liquidations during that hour. Long positions made up $34.79 million of the total, while short positions accounted for $440,000, leaving a wide gap between liquidations on the two sides.

Binance recorded $23.44 million in liquidations, the largest exchange total. OKX followed with $7.87 million, while Bybit logged $3.93 million. Across assets, Bitcoin (BTC) led with $18.44 million liquidated, followed by Ether (ETH) at $6.50 million and Solana (SOL) at $2.01 million.

The exchange figures add to the reported $35.24 million total. The tally covers public liquidation data from those three platforms, so it represents their combined activity rather than the full cryptocurrency market.
