Monero (XMR) climbed more than 12% on Oct. 22 to $647, reaching its highest price since January and marking its strongest reported level since the opening month of 2026.

The move gave traders two clear markers for the session: a rise of more than 12% and a quoted price of $647. The January comparison places XMR at a level not reached since that month. Together, the figures describe the scale of the day’s advance and the longer period covered by the price high.

Trader and chart analyst Peter Brandt had forecast that Monero was developing a large advance resembling silver’s previous bull market. His forecast adds a longer-term chart comparison to the latest price move, while the reported gain and $647 level capture the market’s immediate change. Brandt previously predicted Bitcoin’s 2018 decline.

The latest milestone is the highest price for XMR since January. Brandt’s silver comparison provides a separate market view; the concrete figures for Oct. 22 are the token’s gain of more than 12% and its price of $647.
