Buy orders exceeded sell orders by $13.54 million in Binance’s Bitcoin perpetual market on Oct. 22, which had the largest buy-side depth among the venues in the snapshot.

The snapshot priced Bitcoin (BTC) at $82,170. Binance’s book showed $53.14 million in buy orders against $39.60 million in sell orders.

Coinbase’s spot market and the perpetual markets on OKX and Hyperliquid also had more buy-side than sell-side depth. Their buy-side depth was below Binance’s.

A separate earlier snapshot of Binance’s Bitcoin perpetual book showed $41.54 million in buy orders and $40.26 million in sell orders, with Bitcoin priced at $82,213.

A sudden large buy or sell order can affect thinner order books first, where price moves may be sharper.
