Strategy shares fell 5% to $145.80 Thursday, Oct. 22, while Binance’s MSTRUSDT contract trades in a separate derivatives market that operates beyond the regular Nasdaq session.

The shares dropped $7.68 from the previous close of $153.48. The regular Nasdaq session ended at 4 p.m. ET (20:00 UTC).

The Binance MSTRUSDT contract is a USDT-settled perpetual contract tied to Strategy’s common stock. It trades around the clock and allows up to 10x leverage. Its trading activity reflects a separate derivatives market, not the Nasdaq share price or shareholder positions.

Strategy held 848,517 Bitcoin (BTC) as of Oct. 19, after adding 267 BTC that week at an average price of $82,900 per coin.
