Particula Rates QXMP A- Months After a Scheduled Trading Date
The framework covers 129 token-risk attributes and excludes issuer credit quality. Trading in the QXMP/ETH pair had been scheduled for July 10 at 11 a.m. ET (15:00 UTC).

Particula assigned QXMP Reserve Stablecoin (QXMP) a pre-issuance A- rating dated Oct. 21, months after trading in the QXMP/ETH pair had been scheduled, placing a token-risk assessment after an earlier market date without establishing that trading began.
Particula’s Digital Asset Risk Framework evaluates 129 attributes across counterparty, structural and underlying-asset risks. Its grades span AAA to D, with plus and minus notches. The methodology does not assess the issuer’s credit quality or estimate the probability of default, so the A- applies to the token-risk framework rather than an issuer credit assessment.
QXMP is a planned U.S. dollar-referenced payment token offered through BitGo’s Stablecoin-as-a-Service product. It is intended for enterprise payment and settlement uses, including payroll, cross-border payments and treasury workflows. The Oct. 21 assessment carries the “pre-issuance” label.
Trading in the QXMP/ETH pair had been scheduled for July 10 at 11 a.m. ET (15:00 UTC). Ether (ETH) is the asset paired with QXMP. The scheduled trading date came before the assessment date, but the two dates alone do not establish that trading began.
QXMP’s tokenization pipeline includes $1.17 trillion in assets scheduled for tokenization. Those assets are excluded from liquid minting reserves and redemption backing. The figure therefore describes a tokenization pipeline, not the liquid assets designated to support minting or redemptions.
The framework’s scope matters when interpreting its grade: it covers token risks across the listed categories, while leaving issuer credit quality and default probability outside its assessment.
