WTI Crude Futures Rise 2.11% to $101.567 as Brent Advances

WTI crude futures rose 2.11% to $101.567 a barrel in a Friday morning snapshot, outpacing Brent as both benchmarks moved higher at the same time.

At 8:12 a.m. ET (12:12 UTC) Oct. 23, Brent crude futures stood at $115.142 a barrel, up 1.74%. WTI is the U.S. crude benchmark; Brent’s quoted price was higher in the snapshot.

WTI’s percentage gain was 0.37 percentage points larger than Brent’s.
