NYSE Arca Files to Remove Bitwise Dogecoin ETF From Listing
The Oct. 22 filing coincided with Bitwise’s scheduled cash distribution date, but it did not confirm payments or disclose a final per-share amount.

NYSE Arca filed an Oct. 22 notice to remove the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF (BWOW) from listing and registration, the same date Bitwise had scheduled cash distributions for shareholders who remained in the fund.
The filing does not confirm that investors received cash or disclose a final per-share payout. Bitwise’s wind-down schedule set the distribution amount using the fund’s net asset value (NAV) as of Oct. 21, with payment planned on or about Oct. 22.
Shares held after BWOW’s scheduled final trading session on Oct. 14 were to be redeemed automatically for cash deposited into the cash portion of brokerage accounts. The distributions were identified as taxable events.
BWOW had $536,811 in net assets and 40,000 shares outstanding on Oct. 20. Its displayed $13.42 NAV per share was dated Oct. 13, rather than Oct. 21.
The fund began trading on NYSE Arca on Nov. 25, 2025, offering exposure to Dogecoin (DOGE) through a fund rather than direct ownership of DOGE. The filing follows Bitwise’s plan to end trading and distribute cash.
