Born2trade CEO Says 70% to 90% of Retail Clients Trade Gold
Konstantin Rashap described the range as experience-based. Born2trade’s gold rewards program also ties bonuses to quarterly XAU/USD trading volume.

Born2trade CEO and co-founder Konstantin Rashap said 70% to sometimes 90% of retail clients trade gold, framing the range as an estimate from his experience and observations across the industry.
“In our experience, and from what we see across the industry, between 70% and sometimes 90% of retail clients trade gold,” Rashap wrote in a company post dated Oct. 22. He added: “The market and traders dictate what matters.”
Born2trade announced a gold-linked loyalty program on Oct. 11. Its first reward tier offers one gram of gold for 20 lots of quarterly XAU/USD volume, with the program’s top tier reaching one kilogram at 20,000 lots.
Other gold indicators track different activity. Central-bank net gold demand was estimated at 345 metric tons in the first half of 2026, the lowest first-half total since 2022. Physically backed gold exchange-traded funds attracted about $31 billion in the third quarter, a record, while global holdings reached 4,256 metric tons by Sept. 30.
Those figures measure central-bank demand and fund flows and holdings; they do not show what share of retail brokerage clients trade gold.
