XRP Holds $1.25-$1.60 Range for 10 Weeks, ChartNerd Says
ChartNerd’s chart places recent trading near the channel’s lower boundary after XRP’s 70% August advance.

XRP (XRP) has spent about 10 weeks between support near $1.25 to $1.30 and resistance around $1.50 to $1.60, with no confirmed break to establish a new direction, analyst ChartNerd said.
ChartNerd’s analysis describes a parallel channel formed between the token’s 20-week and 50-week exponential moving averages (EMAs). The chart shows repeated moves between a lower band near $1.27 to $1.30 and an upper region around $1.56 to $1.60. The analyst characterized the pattern as price compression after XRP’s 70% advance in August, with recent trading near the lower boundary.
The chart’s lower boundary sits within the broader support zone ChartNerd described, while its upper region falls inside the resistance zone. The marked levels vary slightly across the channel, with the lower edge around $1.27-$1.30 and the upper area near $1.56-$1.60.
XRP traded at $1.32 on Oct. 23, close to that lower boundary. Earlier in October, the token retreated from about $1.50, briefly rebounded and then pulled back. Its Oct. 18 close was $1.31, near the same edge of the range, in an earlier price snapshot.
ChartNerd framed a clean move above $1.50-$1.60 as evidence that buyers had regained control after weeks of sideways trading. The analyst said a loss of the $1.25-$1.30 support zone would expose XRP to further declines.
Some XRP holders expected favorable ecosystem news to lift the price quickly; ChartNerd addressed that frustration. The analyst said news and short-term market action do not necessarily move together, and described the chart structure as the more immediate factor shaping price behavior. ChartNerd characterized consolidation as a normal technical development after a substantial advance.
The analyst cautioned against anticipating either outcome before a confirmed breakout or breakdown. ChartNerd said a confirmed move beyond either boundary would carry more weight than social media predictions. Neither the brief rebound after the October retreat nor the later pullback carried XRP beyond the chart’s boundaries. Until a move is confirmed, XRP may continue fluctuating within the range.
