Bank of America Outlines Three Possible Paths for 2027 Markets
The scenarios range from an expanding AI bubble to broader equity participation or a deflationary downturn.

Bank of America Global Research outlined three possible paths for 2027 markets, ranging from a continuing artificial intelligence bubble to broader equity participation and a deflationary downturn.
One scenario sees the AI bubble grow further. A second, described as a “Goldilocks” case, has gains spreading across more stocks. The downside scenario is a deflationary bust.
The outlook follows Bank of America’s earlier election-linked market outlook, in which chief investment strategist Michael Hartnett said government policy could help the perceived AI bubble grow.
