Matt Crosby, research director at Look Into Bitcoin, estimated that Bitcoin (BTC) represents about 0.3% of global capital. A hypothetical 1% share would imply a price of about $275,000 per coin, he said.

Crosby said the overall pool of capital is growing. He also said the previous $126,000 high would equal about $134,000 in current dollars because of U.S. dollar debasement. “The pool is growing constantly,” Crosby said.

The estimate describes a valuation scenario, not a recorded flow of investment. An earlier valuation model tied a 1% share of estimated global capital to about $276,000 per Bitcoin. That calculation used estimates of the global capital pool and Bitcoin supply and set no timeline for reaching the scenario.
