Crypto analyst Dennis Liu, who posts as VirtualBacon, puts altcoins’ chance of outperforming Bitcoin (BTC) during the current cycle at about 40%, leaving that scenario below even odds.

Liu assigns a 50% chance to altcoins trading sideways relative to Bitcoin and 10% to further underperformance. The three listed estimates add to 100%, with the outperformance figure described as approximate.
