Crypto Liquidations Total $52.23 Million Across Three Exchanges in One Hour

Crypto traders saw $52.23 million in liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX in the hour ending at 4:25 a.m. ET (08:25 UTC) Saturday, Oct. 24, with long positions accounting for 51%.

TokenPost collected and combined public liquidation figures from the three exchanges, counting 21,308 liquidation events during the hour. Long positions accounted for $26.64 million, while short positions totaled $25.60 million. The count measures liquidation events, while the dollar figures measure their value. Because the tally covers only Binance, Bybit and OKX, it is not a marketwide total.

Binance recorded $45.13 million in liquidations, compared with $3.54 million on Bybit and $3.57 million on OKX. Across individual assets, IRYS led with $8.66 million, followed by Bitcoin (BTC) at $6.85 million and Ether (ETH) at $3.46 million.
