Crypto liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled $44.23 million in the hour through 4:15 p.m. ET Friday, Oct. 23 (20:15 UTC), with shorts making up 51%.

TokenPost's own tally combines publicly available liquidation figures for Binance, Bybit and OKX. It covers those three exchanges only and does not represent a marketwide total. The count covers the hour immediately before the cutoff.

Short positions accounted for $22.54 million in liquidations, compared with $21.69 million for long positions. The tally included 17,303 liquidation events; short liquidations made up 51% of the $44.23 million total, making them the larger side in the hour.

Binance recorded $38.94 million in liquidations, the largest exchange total. OKX had $2.95 million and Bybit $2.34 million. Among assets, IRYS led at $8.12 million. Bitcoin (BTC) recorded $4.67 million, followed by Ether (ETH) at $2.42 million. The exchange totals and asset totals are two breakdowns of the same one-hour tally.
