Global X Investments Canada Inc. set a fourth consecutive monthly distribution of CAD 0.255 per security for the Global X Enhanced Equal Weight Canadian Banks Covered Call ETF (BKCL).

The amount matches the fund’s July, August and September distributions. BKCL seeks exposure to an equal-weighted index of diversified Canadian banks. Its objective includes monthly distributions from dividends and call-option income, and it uses a dynamic covered-call strategy. The fund generally targets leverage of about 125%.

Oct. 30 is both the ex-date and record date. A buyer on or after the ex-date is not entitled to the stated distribution, while the record date determines which holders are eligible. Investors enrolled in the fund’s dividend reinvestment plan may receive additional securities instead of cash. Payment is scheduled for on or about Nov. 6.
