Global X Investments Canada Inc. declared a CAD 0.177 monthly distribution for the Global X 1-10 Year Canadian Corporate Bond Index ETF (GCIG), setting eligibility dates ahead of its November payment.

GCIG trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange and seeks to track the FTSE Canada 1-10 Year Corporate Bond Index. The index covers Canadian investment-grade corporate bonds with maturities primarily from one to 10 years. The fund began operating Sept. 21.

Holders in the fund’s reinvestment plan may receive additional ETF securities in place of cash. The distribution’s tax character will be determined after the fund’s tax year-end.

Global X announced the distribution Friday, Oct. 23, at 4 p.m. ET (20:00 UTC). The fund set Friday, Oct. 30, as both the ex-date and record date, with payment scheduled on or about Nov. 6.
