Global X Investments Canada Inc. set a monthly cash distribution of $0.095 per security for the Global X Short-Term U.S. Treasury Premium Yield ETF (SPAY). The payment is in U.S. dollars and also applies to SPAY.U, the fund’s U.S.-dollar-traded units.
Friday, Oct. 30, is both the ex-date and record date. Payment is scheduled on or about Nov. 6. The $0.095 amount matches the fund’s previous distribution, paid Oct. 7.
The Toronto Stock Exchange-listed fund seeks exposure to U.S. Treasury securities and generally targets a duration of less than three years. It aims to make monthly distributions from interest income and option premiums through a dynamic options program.
Global X also set a $0.122 U.S.-dollar distribution for its Mid-Term U.S. Treasury Premium Yield ETF.
