Global X Russell 2000 Covered Call ETF Sets C$0.21 October Distribution

Global X Investments Canada Inc. set a C$0.21 October distribution for its Global X Russell 2000 Covered Call ETF (RSCC), with Oct. 30 dates determining eligibility for a Nov. 6 payment.

Global X designated Oct. 30 as both the ex-dividend and record date. Payment is scheduled for Nov. 6, or on or about that date. The amount matches RSCC’s September distribution, which was paid Oct. 7.

Listed on Cboe Canada, RSCC aims to provide exposure to the Russell 2000 RIC Capped Index while making monthly distributions from dividends and premiums earned by selling call options.

RSCC is separate from Global X’s U.S.-listed Russell 2000 Covered Call ETF (RYLD), whose Oct. 19 distribution was US$0.15 per share and payable Oct. 22.

Global X also set a C$0.17 monthly distribution for its Growth Asset Allocation Covered Call ETF, with the same Oct. 30 dates and Nov. 6 payment target.
