Uniswap Says It Processes 90% of Circle Wrapped Bitcoin (cirBTC) Trading on Arc
The Uniswap Web App lets users trade cirBTC and add liquidity without a Circle account; the token is backed one-to-one by Bitcoin (BTC).

Uniswap said it processes 90% of Circle Wrapped Bitcoin (cirBTC)’s trading volume on Arc, a share that covers the token’s activity rather than all trading on the network.
Users can swap cirBTC and add liquidity through the Uniswap Web App without opening a Circle account. The app provides access to trading and liquidity services for the Bitcoin-backed token on Arc.
Circle Wrapped Bitcoin is backed one-to-one by Bitcoin (BTC) and was designed to bring BTC into applications for trading, lending and settlement. Its use on Arc places the token in a network designed to support lending and trading applications.
cirBTC supply totaled 4,300.68, with 3,577.56 on Arc and 723.11 on Ethereum. Reserves totaled 4,448.19 BTC, above the token supply on a one-to-one basis.
Circle launched cirBTC on Ethereum June 8, 2026. The token is designed to bring Bitcoin into smart-contract applications without requiring holders to sell the underlying BTC.
