Two wallets linked to early Ethereum holders sent a combined 4,000 Ether (ETH) to Kraken-linked addresses on Oct. 22 and 23. Tracked exchange-linked wallets recorded 169,770 ETH in net outflows on Oct. 22. The individual deposits and the aggregate flow reading describe different activity.

The Oct. 22 amount was the largest daily net outflow in more than four months. A larger outflow of about 223,800 ETH was recorded on June 5. A net outflow means more ETH left tracked addresses than entered them during the measurement period; the figure does not identify wallet owners or where the withdrawn tokens went.

One wallet sent 3,000 ETH to a Kraken deposit address on Oct. 22. The wallet was associated with a holder who acquired the ETH for $18.83 each about nine years earlier. The transfer carried a $7.23 million valuation, but that figure does not establish sale proceeds.

The other wallet was associated with an Ethereum initial coin offering participant who bought 100,000 ETH at $0.31 each. It sent 1,000 ETH to a Kraken hot wallet on Oct. 23. Neither transfer confirms that a trade took place.

The Kraken-bound transfers are not a breakdown of the 169,770 ETH net outflow: they are individual movements, while the flow reading compares activity across tracked exchange-linked addresses. A deposit to an exchange-linked address does not by itself establish a sale, execution price or proceeds.

TokenPost previously covered a three-week rise in tracked Ether exchange-wallet balances, when they increased by about 290,000 ETH and reached a level last seen on Sept. 10.
