Two reported readings for XRP fees burned on Friday, Oct. 23, differ. The discrepancy leaves the daily total unsettled.

One reading lists 1,114.97 XRP; another lists 1,490.058130 XRP for the date. Their measurement windows have not been reconciled, so the readings do not establish a single daily total.

The 1,114.97 XRP reading is 27.5% above the 874.27 XRP figure for Oct. 22 and above a 30-day average of 808.1 XRP. That comparison produces a 27.5% increase. The 75% figure has no stated baseline.

On the XRP Ledger, transaction fees are destroyed instead of paid to another party. The standard minimum fee is 10 drops, and the cost can rise with network load. Fee-burn totals measure XRP destroyed through transaction costs; on their own, they do not show how many users were active or establish a price outlook.
