Uber Technologies shares fell 3.43% Friday to $66.70, extending their decline since Oct. 16 to 5.19% as the stock's loss outpaced the three major U.S. indexes.
The shares dropped $2.37 from Thursday's close of $69.07. They opened at $68.47 and traded between $66.43 and $68.90 before the 4 p.m. ET close (20:00 UTC). Friday's closing price was 5.19% below Uber's Oct. 16 close of $70.35.
The S&P 500 fell 0.52% to 7,623.68, the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.21% to 25,955.34, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 1.23% to 52,215.16.
The 14-period relative strength index (RSI) registered 38.58 on the daily chart and 30.40 on the hourly chart. Both readings were below 50.
Uber's third-quarter results call is scheduled for Nov. 4 at 8 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC).
