TradingShot Chart Maps Meta’s $1,000 Target After Possible $500-$550 Drop

The chart gives no date for its target and makes a bullish turn conditional on a monthly momentum reading.

A TradingShot chart sketches a $500-$550 retracement for Meta Platforms (META) ahead of a longer-range $1,000 mark, placing its conditional path well below Friday’s close.

TradingShot’s chart says Meta’s latest pullback has already reached its 100-week moving average. It identifies $500-$550 as a possible zone around the 50-month average and a Fibonacci level. The $1,000 mark aligns with the 1.618 Fibonacci extension, but the chart gives no date for reaching it.

The chart also draws a rising channel dating to Meta’s initial public offering and labels a rejection after September’s high as a double top. It compares the current setup with a 2018 correction, an interpretation of past price action that does not establish what shares will do next.

Meta closed at $642.62 on Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. ET (20:00 UTC). From that close, $500-$550 is about 14%-22% lower, while $1,000 is roughly 56% higher.

TradingShot says its view would turn bullish if Meta’s monthly relative strength index reached 40 before the stock tested its 50-month moving average or $550. The condition is part of the chart’s analysis, not company guidance.

Truist Securities set a separate $1,000 target in an earlier Meta price-target report. TradingShot gives no comparable date for its chart level.

Meta’s board approved a plan to distribute one new Class C share for every existing Class A or Class B share, with distribution contingent on a charter amendment taking effect Jan. 19, 2027. The company expects its Class A share price after the distribution to reflect the effect of a two-for-one split; record and payment dates are to be set later. TradingShot’s chart does not discuss the distribution.
