Wallets linked to the attacker in Bitget's September breach sent $78.01 million to new addresses from Oct. 15 through Oct. 23, marking fresh movement in the incident's aftermath.

A more recent series of 52 transfers moved $19.48 million from 6:02 a.m. ET Oct. 21 (10:02 UTC) to 10:48 p.m. ET Oct. 23 (2:48 UTC Oct. 24), an elapsed 64 hours and 46 minutes.

Bitcoin (BTC) accounted for $19.33 million; the remainder was Ether (ETH). The transfers document movement between addresses but do not show whether the assets were sold or converted to cash.

Bitget revised its estimate of assets transferred to attacker-controlled addresses to about $387.5 million from $351.6 million in a Sept. 25 update. The exchange said the revised tally included Zcash and TRON assets missed in its first calculation and did not reflect further unauthorized transfers.

Bitget completed its phased restoration of withdrawals and related services on Oct. 2, following the Sept. 24 wallet breach.
