Bitcoin (BTC) is entering November after U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $773.5 million in combined net outflows across two sessions, giving markets a fresh measure of fund activity ahead of the next Federal Reserve decision.

The funds recorded $635.6 million in net outflows on Oct. 22 and $137.9 million on Oct. 23. Together, the two U.S. trading sessions brought the total to $773.5 million, with most of the withdrawals occurring on Oct. 22. Net outflows mean redemptions exceeded new fund creations; the figures do not identify investors’ reasons for withdrawing.

September’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 3.7% from a year earlier and 0.6% from August. Core CPI increased 2.6% year over year. The figures were released Oct. 14 at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 UTC), ahead of the Fed’s next scheduled policy meeting.

The Federal Open Market Committee is scheduled to meet Oct. 27-28. Its statement is due Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. ET (18:00 UTC), followed by a news conference at 2:30 p.m. ET (18:30 UTC). The meeting calendar sets the date for the next policy update but does not establish its outcome.

Bitcoin fell roughly 17% in November 2025, a comparison that does not show the decline will repeat. Across November returns from 2013 through 2025, Bitcoin’s median return was positive 8.8%, while the average was positive 41.3%. A roughly 450% gain in November 2013 lifted the average well above the median, showing how one unusually large monthly return can affect the historical average.

The next scheduled milestone is the FOMC statement on Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. ET (18:00 UTC).
