Winklevoss Zcash ETF Filing Proposes Nasdaq Listing Under WINK
An S-1 filed Oct. 6 names Winklevoss Asset Services as sponsor and Gemini Trust Company as custodian.

The Winklevoss Zcash ETF is the registrant in an S-1 filed Oct. 6, 2026. The filing names Winklevoss Asset Services LLC as sponsor and Gemini Trust Company LLC, an affiliate of the sponsor, as custodian. The fund’s shares are expected to list on Nasdaq under WINK, subject to a notice of issuance.
The proposed fund would add to U.S. investment products tied to Zcash (ZEC). Grayscale launched a Zcash ETF in August.
Zcash supports shielded transactions that can conceal the sender, recipient and amount. Unshielded transactions are publicly viewable. Shares in an ETF offer investment exposure; they do not themselves let holders use Zcash’s shielded transaction features.
Mining activity is another part of the Zcash market. Cypherpunk Technologies’ fleet represented about 18% of the network’s hash rate as of Aug. 18. Earlier coverage of Zcash mining shares and expansion plans provides additional context.
