Hyperliquid Whales Hold $8.12 Billion as Shorts Reach 53.44%

Hyperliquid whale positions totaled $8.122 billion across the platform in an Oct. 25 snapshot, with short exposure exceeding long positions and accounting for 53.44% of the total.

Short positions amounted to $4.341 billion, compared with $3.781 billion in long positions. That put the long-to-short ratio at 0.87. Long positions showed a combined profit of $94.15 million, while short positions showed a combined loss of $40.15 million.

One wallet, 0x5b5d..60, held a 5x cross-margin short on Ether (ETH) at $2,322.74. The position showed an unrealized loss of $2.43 million.
