Sui (SUI) traded at $0.9175 at 4:04 a.m. EDT (08:04 UTC) Oct. 25, down 3.26% over 24 hours as two planned Sui-related rollouts approached their announced October windows.

The Sui Foundation said Hashi would begin a phased mainnet rollout later this month. The coalition includes more than 20 partners, whose capital commitments exceed $500 million. The planned Hashi mainnet rollout has no stated total for funds already deposited or active in its markets.

Hashi is designed to let Bitcoin (BTC) serve as collateral in financial applications on Sui. Bitcoin would remain on its own network, while hBTC represents it on Sui for use in applications. The design is intended to support Bitcoin-backed financial products, including lending.

Samsung Electronics America scheduled a stablecoin feature for Samsung Wallet for the final week of October. USD Coin (USDC) is to be the first supported stablecoin, with availability on 82 million compatible U.S. Galaxy devices. Samsung named Sui and Solana as infrastructure partners.

The Sui Foundation described the integration as supporting USDC on Sui and said the SUI token itself would not be supported in Samsung Wallet at launch. Samsung’s 82 million figure refers to compatible devices. The planned Samsung Wallet USDC transfers are not a count of active users.

“Sending money abroad should feel as convenient as using the wallet already on your phone,” said Woncheol Chai, executive vice president and head of the Digital Wallet Team at Samsung Electronics’ Mobile eXperience business. Samsung’s feature is scheduled for the last week of October, while Hashi’s mainnet rollout is planned to proceed in phases later this month.
