Bitcoin Options Expiry Is Set for Friday After Fed and U.S. Data
The Oct. 30 expiry follows the Fed’s Oct. 28 decision and the BEA’s releases on third-quarter GDP and September income and outlays.

Bitcoin options are scheduled to expire Friday, Oct. 30, after a week of U.S. monetary policy and economic releases. The expiry adds a derivatives event to the Fed, GDP and PCE calendar.
The Fed will announce its policy decision at 2 p.m. ET Wednesday, Oct. 28, with a news conference starting at 2:30 p.m. ET. BEA plans two releases at 8:30 a.m. ET Thursday, Oct. 29: an advance estimate of third-quarter GDP and its September Personal Income and Outlays report, which includes the PCE price index.
Crypto analyst Ash Crypto wrote, “A weekly close above $82K and the 1W 50MA would strengthen the bullish case.”
