Circle minted 250 million USDC on Solana at 1:44 p.m. ET Sunday, Oct. 25, a transaction valued at about $250 million and confirmed on the network.

The mint occurred at 17:44 UTC. USDC is a digital token used to settle transactions, and Solana is a blockchain network for digital assets and applications.

The transaction was separate from Circle’s Oct. 19 mint of 250 million USDC on Solana.
