Spot Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded funds ended the week with about $305 million in net inflows, despite heavy withdrawals on Thursday and Friday. Ether (ETH) funds lost about $220 million, extending their net outflow streak to four weeks.

Bitcoin funds had been negative for the previous two weeks before turning positive this week. They drew $526.60 million on Monday and $23.16 million on Tuesday, followed by $528.50 million on Wednesday. Those first three sessions brought in more than $1 billion.

Withdrawals then cut into the gains. Bitcoin funds lost $635.49 million on Thursday, their largest daily outflow since late June, and another $137.9 million on Friday. The week’s net inflow lifted cumulative net inflows from below $56.9 billion to nearly $57.2 billion.

Ether funds lost $103.28 million on Monday and $26.13 million on Tuesday. They drew nearly $15 million on Wednesday, then lost $110.50 million on Thursday. Friday brought an inflow of $4.4 million, leaving the week’s withdrawals at about $220 million.

Ether funds have lost more than $1.2 billion since late September, when their cumulative net inflows had approached $14 billion. By Friday’s close, that cumulative figure had fallen below $12.75 billion. The latest withdrawals extend the trend covered in earlier reporting through Oct. 22.
