Ethereum ICO Holder Moves 5,000 ETH Over Two Hours Monday

A 1,500 ETH transfer to a centralized exchange was valued at $3.45 million.

A holder who acquired Ether (ETH) through Ethereum’s 2015 initial coin offering moved 5,000 ETH Monday, Oct. 26, including a $3.45 million transfer to a centralized exchange after holding the tokens for 11 years.

The holder acquired 100,000 ETH through the offering at $0.311 each, then sold 50,000 ETH about six months later at $5.47 each.

The remaining 50,000 ETH were held for 11 years before transfers began Monday. The 5,000 ETH moved over two hours, with 1,500 ETH entering a centralized exchange.
