Binance’s UNITREEUSDT perpetual contract logged a -1.12% funding rate for a four-hour interval Monday, requiring short holders to pay traders holding long positions at settlement.

On a simple annualized basis, the negative rate would be -2,452.8% if it remained unchanged. By publication, the rate had widened to -1.16%, deepening the per-interval payment burden on short holders.

The Monday reading was more negative than the earlier -0.777501% four-hour UNITREE rate on Binance, which was tied to an estimated $467 in funding payments over 24 hours for a $10,000 short position.
