XRP's Market Value Tops Solana's as Solana Leads Three Network Measures
Oct. 24 market-cap figures put XRP at $81.68 billion and SOL at $60.59 billion. Oct. 26 network snapshots showed Solana ahead in DeFi value locked, stablecoin market capitalization and 24-hour DEX volume.

XRP had a larger market capitalization than Solana (SOL) on Oct. 24, while Oct. 26 figures showed Solana ahead of the XRP Ledger in DeFi value locked, stablecoin market capitalization and 24-hour decentralized exchange (DEX) volume.
UTC-dated market-cap figures put XRP at about $81.68 billion and SOL at about $60.59 billion. The dates are reported without an intraday observation time.
Oct. 26 figures listed $5.688 billion in DeFi value locked on Solana, $15.601 billion in stablecoin market capitalization and $1.304 billion in 24-hour DEX volume. The XRP Ledger figures displayed that day were $42.23 million, $1.235 billion and $5.31 million, respectively. The XRP Ledger figures have no stated observation time, so the comparison is not a same-time measurement.
The figures compare token market capitalization with network value totals and a 24-hour trading flow. They describe different measures and do not establish which token will perform better.
Arf announced Oct. 22 that it plans to provide settlement liquidity in RLUSD to licensed cross-border payment companies using the XRP Ledger, in partnership with Ripple. Arf's plan describes a typical repayment window of one to five days. The announcement did not identify participating firms or disclose a funding amount for the program.
RLUSD is the settlement asset in the plan. XRP is used for XRP Ledger transaction costs and account reserves, but the announcement did not quantify any additional XRP use tied to the program.
Arf has described native XRP Ledger lending as a later step, subject to protocol amendments. No date for that step was disclosed.
