Mizuho Securities lowered its price target for Circle to $43 on Oct. 26 and maintained its Underperform rating, warning that AI assistants could steer users toward higher-yielding alternatives with insurance protection.

Mizuho estimated that a shift toward those alternatives could put $4 billion to $9 billion of pressure on USDC’s market capitalization and reduce Circle’s reserve income by 10% to 20%.

The firm also cut its 2027 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) forecast for Circle by about 5%.
