Zcash (ZEC) fell 2.21% in the hour through 12:39 p.m. ET Monday (16:39 UTC), reaching $1,229 on Binance’s ZEC/USDT spot market.

The same market’s quote was $1,257 an hour earlier, a $28 decrease across the one-hour window. Over the longer 24-hour period ending at 12:39 p.m. ET, ZEC was up 1.81%, so the hourly decline came alongside a gain over the full day.

Long positions totaling $310,000 and short positions totaling $10,000 were liquidated across Binance, Bybit and OKX during the same hour. The long-side total was $300,000 higher than the short-side figure, indicating that positions betting on higher prices accounted for most of the recorded liquidations in that period.

Zcash ranked 10th by market capitalization at about $21.1 billion. That market-value estimate provides a broader snapshot than the price quote, which tracks only Binance’s ZEC/USDT spot pair.
