dYdX Vote Seeks to Close Seven Trading Markets, Including Oil and Silver
Voting ends Oct. 29 at 8:40 a.m. ET. If approved, the markets would enter final settlement and their price feeds would close.

Community members have opened an on-chain governance vote at dYdX to close seven trading markets spanning crypto assets and commodities. The markets are ENA, ONDO, WLFI, TRUMP, WIF, WTI crude oil and XAG silver. The vote remains open, and no closure has been approved yet.
Five listed markets are token-linked, while WTI crude oil and XAG silver bring oil and silver products into the same decision. The measure covers both crypto and commodity trading on dYdX.
The proposal cites low trading activity and liquidity for most of the affected markets. It gives WTI and XAG a separate operational reason: oracle upkeep costs are high relative to use. Planned shutdowns of node infrastructure also affect price feeds for ENA, ONDO and WLFI.
If approved, the seven markets would enter final settlement, and their corresponding price feeds would close. Voting ends Oct. 29 at 8:40 a.m. ET (12:40 UTC).
