Ripple USD (RLUSD) had $2.3828 billion in circulation and $2.528 billion in reserve funds on Oct. 22, leaving reserves $145.2 million above the stablecoin’s circulating supply.

The reserve total was about 6.1% higher than circulation. The figures are a snapshot of supply and reserve funds, rather than a measure of decentralized exchange trading.

RLUSD is listed among the assets New York permits virtual currency entities to issue. Stablecoins are designed to maintain stable value, and the two figures describe separate measures for RLUSD.
